Choosing Between Confetti Launchers

The options on this page are designed for different venue sizes and tour requirements. Single-unit systems suit smaller stages, installed venues and one-off events. Tour packs bundle multiple launchers together for larger productions, festival stages and touring shows that need coordinated bursts across a wider stage area.

Both approaches use the same core technology. The difference is scale and portability: individual units give you control over placement and timing, while bundled packs are ready for multi-point setups.

What Works With Confetti Effects

Atmospheric effects pair naturally with lighting. Confetti shows up best when backlit or caught in moving beams, so coordinate your launch timing with lighting cues. You'll also need the right consumables: tissue or metallic confetti, depending on the look you're after and how quickly cleanup needs to happen.

Consider these alongside your other special effects:

  • Haze or fog machines to add depth and make airborne confetti more visible
  • DMX control to sync launches with music, lighting and other stage cues
  • Wind machines for controlled drift and longer hang time

What to Know Before You Order

Confetti systems are specified by their throw distance, burst volume and power source. Smaller launchers work for intimate stages and close-range effects.

If you're integrating these into an existing rig, check your DMX channel layout and power requirements before you commit. StageKraft's service team can help with fixture profiles and technical specs. Contact them at service@stagekraft.com.au or call +61 2 9982 1494.
